Heechan Park

Heechan is a qualified architect. He gained his Masters, Graduate Diploma and Post graduate professional studies(Part 3) at the Bartlett school of architecture, University College London, where he explored time based performative architecture under the tutorship of Professor Stephen Gage. He explores architecture as a time based event by using innovative technology of fabrication. He won the Bartlett travel scholarship to travel to Finland and study the work of Alvar Aalto in 2010.

Heech was born in Seoul, South Korea, where he completed his Bsc in architecture at Dongguk Univeristy in Seoul. Since graduating he worked for an award winning practice M.A.R.U in Seoul before moving to London for his studies in 2009.
Heech is also a toy maker. He founded an fabrication workshop: HEECH in 2010, which is looking at designing innovative mechanical toy by rapid prototyping and delight of architectural toys.


HEECH, an Experimental Toy workshop, focuses on digital fabrication and interactive technologies as a method to explore new possibility of innovative architecture, emphasising on prototyping mechanical toys, interactive installation as a time based event.
